It’s so funny. The day you posted the info about low carb diets I had started Atkins. I was completly determined to make it work and that prove you wrong. Yeah right. Barely made it a week and you were right , I couldn’t stand to eat that way, i was super tired and i was screaming at everybody. I lost about 5 pounds in that first week and I swear the weight came back in 3 days. I guess I won’t be proving you wrong today. LOL
Love to your take on the Dukan Diet…..?
Just another day with the same basic song. The Dukan Diet starts out as just another modification of a very low carb diet, hence the quick intitial weight loss success of the celebs who are touting it. Yes, we should keep an eye on carbs, but the findings of the National Weight Control Registry show that only 1% of LONG TERM successful losers were able to achieve & MAINTAIN their significant weight losses using a very low carb diet. To me, a successful diet is ONLY one that can show scientific proof of long term efficacy – & very low carb diets do not fall within that category.

I was just about to try the 17 Day (low cab) Diet when I saw this video on YouTube. Thanks for saving me from what was likely just another failure in the making, I plan on trying some of the advice on your Pearl Principle page. Thank you for the wonderful, free advice!
Low carb diets are the ultimate fad diet because they work at first. That is why so many doctor’s tie their names to different versions. This only perpetuates the “quick fix” mentality that is so pervasive.
Luv how u say it & it is so true. All these diets work while u r doing them, but what about when u stop? If u can’t do it 4ever, then all the w8 will come back. When will people finally c that?
I think I might have to look into that “drinking man’s diet”. Hell, if I have to suffer through a diet, why not enjoy it a little? (just kidding.)…..well sort of.
Great videos. Keep them coming! =)
ITS SO CONFUSING ALL THE MIXED MESSAGES. ON ONE HAND WE ARE TOLD THAT BACON AND CHEESEBURGERS ARE THE WORST THINGS THAT YOU CAN EAT AND THEN YOU GO ON A LOW CARB DIEAT AND THATS ALL YOU AR ETOLD TO EAT (MINUS THE BREAD OF COURSE). AT LEAST NOW I KNOW THAT THAT IS BULL PUCKEY.
Went on a low carb diet and could not stnad eating all that meat. it just FELT completely unhealthy. I lost 5 pounds of what must have been water in 3 days and just lke you said, gained it all back as soon as i stopped. your words are true true true.
Never quite understood how the whole low carb thing worked, thanks for the info. Great video.
